About Us

Focused Dog Training

Focused Dog Training was formed from the needs of stressed families. In our busy world, who has the time to do one more chore, pack the kids up or find a sitter just to get the dog across town to a training center?

At Focused Dog Training, we take the hassle out of training your dog by coming to your home on your schedule. We listen to you, your issues, and address your needs.  We walk you through a step-by-step process that takes the worry away.

Our ultimate goal is to give you the tools you need to build a better relationship between your family and your dog.

How It Works

Our trainers use a 3-step approach to training:

Teaching

We take the time to teach your dog new commands, then we teach you how to give each command—we help you every step of the way. This is where your dog starts to understand what each command is and how to achieve them consistently and on cue.

Training

Once your dog begins to understand the new commands we’ve taught, the next step is to train the dog to execute those commands in every situation and across a variety of environments. This step solidifies your dog’s understanding of each command given, and tests them on control.

Living

Our ultimate goal is to get you living the life that you want with your pet. Now that your dog understands what you want from them, you are able to live your life with your dog in harmony. The benefits of having a well behaved dog taught by our trainers will last for a lifetime.

Jayson Fogle

Co-Founder and Head Trainer

Jayson is the Co-Founder and Head Trainer of Focused Dog Training. Prior to Focused Dog Training, Jayson was the head trainer for one of the largest dog training franchises in the Midwest.  Jayson’s passion for dogs and their owners is evident the moment you meet him. He listens to you, your needs and concerns. He will walk you through the commands step by step, and is always willing to give you any guidance you need..

I have always had dogs since I was young; I loved learning from them and working with them.  My personal beliefs with dogs are that if you show them respect and caring, they will do the same for you.  I hold my dogs to high expectations and they thrive on a very busy lifestyle.

I take great pride in what I do; I want to provide the best possible service I can to my clients and their dogs.  My clients have my cell phone number and can call or text me whenever they need.  I want to keep them moving forward with their training and create a great relationship.

I look forward to working with you soon and showing you and your family how to have a happy life together with your dog.
